"Rational Approaches to Catalysts and Materials for Energy"

Symposium in honor of Hervé Toulhoat

Paris, June 19 & 20, 2018

Rational Approaches to Catalysts and Materials for Energy

Dr. Hervé Toulhoat retired from IFP Energies nouvelles at the end of 2016, where he accomplished an impressive carrier as a scientist in the fields of catalysis, computational chemistry and chemistry in general.

Although retired, he does not abandon catalysis. In January 2017, he joined the “Laboratoire de Réactivité de Surface” of Sorbonne University as an emeritus and has been starting to animate computational activities in collaboration with experimentalists on several projects.

Hence, Sorbonne University and IFP Energies nouvelles plan to gather several researchers from academia and industry in order to celebrate his achievements, during a two half-days symposium around the topic of the “Rational Approaches to Catalysts and Materials for Energy".

The Symposium will take place in the Charpak Amphitheater of Sorbonne University in the center of Paris on Tuesday (afternoon) 19th June and Wednesday (morning) 20th June 2018.
